Srushti began preparing for the UPSC examination in her third year in engineering. When she graduated she was unsure if she was able to be satisfied in the engineering role. Later, she realized her passion was in civil service and started to focus on this. She was urged by her parents to pursue a civil service career and get ready for the exams. Her motivation never waned as she remained focused in her pursuit to become an IAS. In order for UPSC to be a reality, more hard work is needed. As she studied in her engineering courses She also had to prepare different subjects in UPSC. The preparation for the exam was carried out every day. In just over an entire month it was time to prepare for her engineering test and also stayed away from social media. She believes that focusing is essential to crack the government examination and be an officer in the civil service. She set out to make it through the exam quickly, so she did a lot of hours. Everyday, she was reading the paper to stay up with current events. Rajya Sabha TV, online sources and various study tools proved to be a great help for her.
